Welcome to Time Limit Draw! Our hosts "Southern Comfort" Michael Watson and "The Golden Voice" James Ryan review, rehash, and recoil at the best and the worst of WWE, WCW, and ECW ppvs and supershows from a generation back.
It's still Royal Rumble Season, so sit back, and listen to Time Limit Draw's Michael Watson and James Ryan review the 2001 version of the Royal Rumble! Opening match is for the tag title, as The Dudleys challenge Edge and Christian. Chris Jericho wants Chris Benoit's Intercontinental Title in a Ladder Match. Kurt Angle defends his WWF Championship against Triple H. In the Main event, 30 men enter, one man will win! Who's it going to be? The Rock? Undertaker? Kane? Stone Cold? Hardcore Holly? Drew Curry?
White trash and rednecks, this one's about to be a meat grinder! Time Limit Draw's Michael Watson and James Ryan are back and they are reviewing the 2003 edition of the Royal Rumble. This event is all about the Big Bad Booty Daddy as Freakzilla aka Scott Steiner takes on Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title in one of the worst matches ever. Thankfully Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit decide to shove it down Triple H's big nose with an instant classic match for the WWE Championship. We also have a pretty good, albeit predictable Royal Rumble match itself. Did I mention Big Poppa Pump? He's all over this episode. Holler if you hear me.
Time Limit Draw is celebrating the Holidays, however instead of presents and booze, Michael Watson and James Ryan are both on Santa's Naughty List! That means he delivered a lump of coal in the form of WCW's Starrcade 1991! The Lethal Lottery is in full effect. 40 wrestlers will "randomly" be placed in tag teams, and the winning teams will then enter the BattleBowl battle royale for a chance to win the BattleBowl! Needless to say, this ppv sucks. Bah Humbug.
In what should have been "The Greatest Night in the History of Our Sport", became the pay-per-view that signaled the beginning of the end of WCW's dominance in the Monday Night Wars! Time Limit Draw presents WCW's Starrcade 1997! James Ryan and Michael Watson run down a card filled with matches best left for Nitro or Thunder, wrestlers no-showing, wrestlers sitting in the crowd, an excess of Vincent (aka Virgil), 2 semi-decent matches, weed brownies, and the biggest fumble ever in a Pro Wrestling Championship Match ever. Hollywood Hogan puts his title on the line against Sting. What should have been a bloodbath squash ruined Sting and WCW forever. "Paybacks are hell", and so is this Starrcade.
It would only be right that the event known for the Montreal Screwjob would take so long to edit! Editing this made us feel how Bret Hart probably felt going into the match and looked post match. He knew he had to go through with it, even though it was going to be screwed over. Time Limit Draw presents WWF Survivor Series 1997! There are four 8 Man Elimination matches, the blossoming of the soon to be known New Age Outlaws, Kane's debut match against Mankind, Stone Cold Steve Austin probably shouldn't be wrestling tonight against Owen Hart for the IC title, and in the main event: Bret, Shawn, Vince, Earl, Montreal, Double Crosses, Extra Security, Loogies, Tears, and the Biggest Work in the history of Pro Wrestling, the Infamous Montreal Screwjob Match!
